ITINERARY 06: ASSAM – ARUNACHAL PRADESH (6 NIGHTS / 7 DAYS)

BEST TIME TO VISIT: APRIL TO JUNE & SEPTEMBER TOMARCH

DAY 01: ASSAM

Arrive Guwahati airport and drive to Tezpur / Bhalukpong (240 kms / 5 hrs drive approx). Check-in Hotel Luit / Prashanti Cottages. Overnight.

  DAY 02. ASSAM-ARUNACHAL PRADESH

After breakfast drive to Dirang, bye-passing Bomdila (195 kms / 6 ½ hrs drive approx.). Check-in Hotel Pemaling.

DAY 03. ARUNACHAL PRADESH

After breakfast drive to Tawang (145 kms / 7 hrs drive), en-route Sella Pass at 13,700 ft. Overnight in Hotel Tawang view zax star.

DAY 04. ARUNACHAL PRADESH

Full day visit including Tawang Monastery, Penga Ten Tso (PTTso) Lake, craft centre and local market. Overnight in Tawang.

DAY 05. ARUNACHAL PRADESH

After breakfast drive back to Dirang. Overnight in Hotel Pemaling.

DAY 06. ARUNACHAL PRADESH-ASSAM

After breakfast drive to Tezpur / Bhalukpong, en-route Bomdila at 8,000 ft. Overnight in Hotel Luit / Prashanti Cottages. Overnight.

DAY 07. Assam

  • Expenses incurred due to change in oil price, mishaps, landslide, strike, political unrest etc. In such case, extra will be charged as per actual which will be collected directly from the guest.

NOTE & IMPORTANT

  1. All hotels in Arunachal Pradesh are non-star category.

  2. Guests with adventurous mind should travel Arunachal Pradesh.

  3. Room heaters may not work in Arunachal Pradesh due to voltage fluctuations.

  4. In this region there are no relevance between the distance and time travelling as it depends upon the conditions of roads and congestion of traffic.

  5. Mobile services may not be active in all destinations. Pre-paid roaming and International roaming connection does not work in this region.

  6. Credit Cards / Traveller’s cheque are not freely accepted.

  7. Every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary, in view of local strikes, landslide etc., which are beyond our control all schedule and itineraries are subject to last moment changes and any additional cost, will be borne by the guests directly.

  8. For Arunachal Pradesh tours, all Indian Tourists require ILP (Inner Line Permits). ILP are issued from Guwahati. Tourists need to send us their copy of Identity & address proof such as Driving License or Passport. Permit process are two to three working days.
